IDE Masteropleidingen

The Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering is a top-ranked design research and education institute at the heart of Delft University of Technology. We offer three master’s programmes: Design for Interaction (DfI), Integrated Product Design (IPD), and Strategic Product Design (SPD). Find out more about each of them below.

IDE Master Programmes

Design for Interaction (DfI)

DfI focuses on the relationships we create between people and their world through design - the new behaviours and experiences they enable.

Integrated Product Design (IPD)

IPD focuses on teaching students how to design user-centered innovative products and product service combinations, based on a balance between the interests of users, business and societal challenges.

Strategic Product Design (SPD)

SPD focuses on teaching students about the business context of product and service design. This can be the context of large international corporations, strong design consultancies, or start-up entrepreneurship.
