Professor David Abbink appointed member of KHMW

David Abbink, Professor in Haptic Human-Robot Interaction at the Faculties of Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Industrial Design Engineering (IDE) at TU Delft, has been appointed as a scientific member of the Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen (Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities).

Founded in 1752, the KHMW aims to promote collaboration between science and society.

David Abbink: “It is a great honour to join this society. This is completely in line with our research and innovation centre FRAIM around the future of physical work, and the Stevin Prize I received in October to further strengthen this approach. I look forward to meeting even more people and learning from each other how to build these kinds of bridges.”
