2024-12-17 | Virtual Reconstruction of Color Field Paintings (DfI/IPD), University of Leuven / TU Delft

In this groundbreaking project you will explore interactions and design solutions enabling the virtual reconstruction of these iconic artworks. You will delve into the heart of Color Field paintings, examining how to translate the original ( uorescent) appearance into a digital format.

2024-12-17 | Improve the implementation process for patient decision aids, ZorgKeuzeLab

Proper use of a decision aid as a standard part of the clinical routine does not happen automatically. ZorgKeuzeLab has developed an implementation approach and toolkit to make it easier for healthcare professionals. The implementation toolkit consists of presentations, materials for the consultation rooms, progress reports, etc., all meant to support all steps from preparation for implementation until the decision aid is part of all team members' clinical routine.

2024-12-17 | From single-use to reusable: Designing a new circular system for the meal kit industry, Corplex

To encourage more businesses to adopt reusable packaging, we need to create champions of the circular economy—examples that inspire others to follow suit. We want to create a showcase to demonstrate to Dutch businesses that reusable packaging systems are achievable, starting with the meal kit industry (e.g., HelloFresh). Therefore, we want you to design a circular system for the meal kit industry using reusable packaging supplied by Corplex, replacing the current single-use cardboard packaging. You will need to consider the design of a closed loop system which will include logistics, recovery, repair, cleaning, partner engagement, and incentives for users. Ultimately, the goal is to create a holistic solution that addresses the massive volumes of single-use cardboard waste generated annually and replace this with reusable alternatives

2024-12-16 | Connecting Design for Health Research with Design for Health Practice, CardioLab

Healthcare services constantly need to change to improve health outcomes, reduce costs, and improve the experiences of workers and patients. Developing new practices for doing this supports this transition. Here, design research in the health domain impacts in many ways, such as affecting policy, service delivery practices, research methods, and design practices. In this graduation opportunity, we will focus on how design research can create a stronger connection to design practice in the health domain. CardioLab is one of the Delft Design Labs that focus on the healthcare domain, and we are interested in how we and the other design researchers in healthcare at TU Delft can come closer to practice.
