Maskerclass MindMatch Days | November 2024
On Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th of November, around 50 student board members came together at the Maskerclass MindMatch days, to learn about everything related to mental health. Through speed dating with TU Delft colleagues and external partners, they were taught what knowledge and practical information is available, and how to share it with their members.

Bilingual Days: The event featured specific days for different languages, with the 19th of November dedicated to English speakers and the 20th to Dutch speakers, accommodating a diverse group of attendees.

Speed Dating
Speed Dating at Maskerclass MindMatch Delft 2024 was a standout feature, fostering efficient and structured networking opportunities for participants. Among the notable organizations present were 113 Zelfmoordpreventie, a leader in suicide prevention; GGD Haaglanden, which serves the public health needs of the Haaglanden region; and Brijder, known for its addiction care services. Participants engaged in brief, timed interactions, sharing their objectives and exploring potential collaborations. While the format was praised for effectively initiating new contacts and renewing previous ones, feedback highlighted a desire for longer interaction times to allow for more substantive discussions and stronger connections. The event's success underscored the value of such networking activities in matching individuals and organizations with aligned goals, establishing a solid foundation for future engagements and professional relationships.
Workshops
The workshops at Maskerclass MindMatch Delft 2024, highly valued for their depth and engagement, effectively addressed subjects such as leadership development, organizational management, mental health awareness, and digital communication strategies, meeting the specific needs of the participants.
Designed to encourage active participation, the workshops provided an interactive learning environment where attendees could engage in discussions, ask questions, and participate in hands-on activities. This approach allowed for immediate application of learned techniques and insights to the participants' real-world challenges and projects.
Feedback from the Maskerclass MindMatch Delft 2024 was exceptionally positive, with attendees praising the engaging format that allowed them to acquire practical knowledge. There was a unified call for longer workshop durations in upcoming events to facilitate more thorough explorations of complex topics and enhanced interaction with leading experts.
