Elective course

For students who are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree programme at a Dutch university (of applied sciences), it is possible to take one or more elective courses from another degree programme than their main programme. These elective courses may also be courses taught at other universities. Students are then seen as guest students. Guest students can take courses, but are not entitled to a degree from the course where they are taking elective courses.

Please note: to participate in MSc courses you must have completed at least a BSc degree.

The following courses at TU Delft currently do not offer the opportunity to take elective courses:

  • Bachelor Aerospace Engineering
  • Bachelor of Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences
  • Bachelor Computer Science & Engineering
  • Bachelor Clinical Technology
  • Master Robotics
  • Master Technical Medicine (joint degree)
  • Master Applied Geophysics (joint degree)
  • Master Metropolitan Analysis, Design and Engineering (joint degree)
  • Master Geographical Information Management and Applications (joint degree)
