17 - 28 March: Junction closure Jaffalaan - Mekelweg

From Monday 17 March to Friday 28 March, sewer replacement work will take place at the Jaffalaan - Mekelweg junction. As a result, the road will be closed. Cyclists and pedestrians will be redirected, while motorised traffic will have limited access.

Cyclists and pedestrians
Cyclists and pedestrians will be redirected via Landbergstraat, Leeghwaterstraat, and Jaffalaan. On weekdays between 07:00 and 19:00, traffic controllers will be present at crossing points, including the Rotterdamseweg - Jaffalaan junction. The diversion will be signposted on site.

Motorised traffic
Jaffalaan will remain partially accessible via a one-way alternating traffic system. On weekdays between 07:00 and 19:00, this will be managed by traffic controllers, and from 19:00 to 07:00, it will be regulated by traffic lights. This may cause increased congestion, particularly during peak hours. Visitors to car park P5 are advised to take an alternative route.
