Reserve rooms and tools

Want to host an event on the freezones, prepare for a meeting or forget your mouse? TU has a wide range of rooms and tools to reserve to help you create a good study environment. Should you be looking for the possibilities, each faculty and TU Library have their own Service Point. What options are available varies by faculty so be sure to stop by and consult with the staff. A lot of information about products and services can also be found on the Selfservice Portal. There you can request services and products or submit a question digitally to the Service Desk.

AV/IT tools

Want to hold an (online) meeting? The TU Delft campus has audiovisual/information technology (AV/IT) tools available in various rooms. Think projectors, SMARTboards, document cameras, displays, videoconferencing, microphones, etc.

Here you will find an overview of the existing AV/IT resources of the room pool consisting of approximately 180 teaching spaces ranging from ascending lecture halls, flat floor rooms, project rooms and examination rooms. AV/IT resources are also found in faculty teaching rooms and conference rooms. Starting points for the AV/IT resources are uniformity and user-friendliness.

How do you make use of them?

If you reserve a room (through the Service Point), the corresponding AV/IT resources are available for use. At the Service Point are the access pass, key to start up the AV system and if applicable, pick up the presenter/pointer, adapter cables and microphone.

Are you going to use the audiovisual resources in an education space? Did you know that you can:

  • do a trial presentation in the room in advance with support if necessary? This can help you with getting familiar with the usage of the equipment.
  • request help to start up the equipment on the day of the presentation itself?

For this, contact the Servicedesk of the building in question.

Need to borrow tools?

It is possible to borrow separate AV/IT resources such as projectors, voice recorders, video cameras, etc. from your own faculty. And in addition, you can also borrow other tools such as a mouse or card reader.
At the Service Points you can inquire about the availability of the tools and reserve the tools, often in exchange for your campus card, so bring it with you
