Research interests
I specialize in digital and sustainability transitions in the built environment. My research focuses on developing human-AI deliberation system in multi-stakeholder settings to achieve more inclusive, thoughtful, and responsible sustainability policies.
My work explores key questions:
How can AI bring in the voices of different stakeholders into the deliberation?
How can AI promote mutual understanding and reflection in deliberation?
How can AI help find common ground towards more inclusive, thoughtful, and responsible sustainable policies for the built environment in deliberation?
And how can AI and human actors learn through deliberation?
I am part of the AiBLE Lab at TU Delft AI Labs, where I collaborate with Tong Wang and Paul Chan in Design and Construction Management, and Luciano Cavalcante Siebert in the Interactive Intelligence Group. Additionally, I actively contribute to AI educational projects at TU Delft.
Academic background
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Chongqing University. Following this, I pursued a Master's degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where I focused on infrastructure computer vision and digital twin technologies. Since 2022, I have been conducting PhD research at the AiBLE Lab, TU Delft AI Labs, and the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment.
