Profile
Research
The PhD research project aims to provide deeper insight into the pre-failure behaviour of fibrous peats and to develop a unitary framework for its modelling. Both experimental laboratory tests and theoretical analyses are employed to characterise the hydro-mechanical behaviour of this material.
Biography
Stefano Muraro is a PhD student at Delft University of Technology. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degree in Environmental Engineering at University of Trento (Italy). His interests include laboratory soil testing, constitutive modelling, slope stability, earth retaining structure and soil-structure interaction.

VENI beurs 2022
9 Delftse toponderzoekers
