BK Health Community launched

BK Health officially kicked off with a lively event on 12 November. The launch featured a mix of inspiring speakers and an engaging quiz on health in the built environment — setting an energetic tone for this new community.

Machiel van Dorst, one of the driving forces behind BK Health, explained the importance of building an active health-focused community  within the Faculty. Dean Dick van Gameren  highlighted health as a fundamental pillar fof BK’s vision. Co-initiator Deepti Adlakha shared her inspiring vision for the future of BK Health and introduced the ambassadors who will help steer the community forward.

The event concluded with a lively quiz, where teams tested their knowledge of interesting facts and figures about health in the built environment. The atmosphere was buzzing as attendees networked and brainstormed ideas for future initiatives.
