Flagships
The TU Delft Climate Action Programme supports flagships. On this page you can find more information on what a flagship is, how you can get involved and how to start a new flagship. More information on the current flagships can be found here. Get to know our Academic Career trackers who are already in a flagship here.

What is the outlook for new Climate Action Flagships?
The Climate Action Programme started with 16 flagships. As we recognize that much important work is being undertaken on climate action, we would like to broaden the number of flagships we support. We thus welcome new flagships to apply to join our fleet.
What support will be provided to flagships?
- Teamwork: sessions are organised to enhance cooperation between the various disciplines and bring about excellence in research, education and innovative approaches
- Recognition & reward: Activities to clarify the added value of inter/trans/multi-disciplinary teamwork.
- Visibility (internally and externally): Flagships are featured on our website and in newsletters, and offered the opportunity to present at our events, such as climate lunches and the annual festival.
- External collaboration: Support is being provided to develop (strategic) collaboration with external partners and the development of new projects/programmes.
- Access to network: Flagship members will have more involvement in and easy access to TU-broad and/or external climate action activities.
- Event support: Each flagship has access to an annual budget of 2000 EUR for activities related to the flagship.
Please note: There is no funding to hire new staff associated with flagship teams.
