Take part in the Delft Knowledge Network for Water Policy and Management
Water is at the heart of many of today’s pressing societal challenges and related sustainability transitions. These require expertise at the intersection of water governance, policy, and management to enable purposeful use of social, environmental and technological knowhow.
With Delft as our shared home-base, Deltares, IHE Delft and TU Delft form a unique knowledge ecosystem on research, education and policy-driven innovation for societal impact on water and water infrastructures. Deltares applies cutting-edge research to bridge science and policy, providing innovative water and subsurface solutions around the world and in particular to their most important knowledge partner, the Dutch government. IHE Delft educates and empowers water professionals worldwide, tackling global water challenges through interdisciplinary research and capacity development. TU Delft’s Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management integrates research, education and innovation in engineering, social sciences, and humanities to tackle societal challenges, with a focus on systems, policy, and management in different sectors – including water and deltas.
To leverage and advance our combined expertise in water policy, governance and management and boost our collective impact through new opportunities for collaboration, we jointly initiate the Delft Knowledge Network for Water Policy and Management. We invite you to take part in an initial trio of seminars, as a platform to strengthen our connections and facilitate exchange on this crucial topic.
