Education
Our Geoscience & Remote Sensing department is involved in the following MSc programs:
MSc Earth, Climate and Technology:
Previously known as Applied Earth Sciences
At the MSc programme Earth, Climate and Technology, you study the part of the earth system that interacts strongly with society, namely the upper crust from a few kilometres depth up to the lower atmosphere. You will develop solutions to understand, monitor and predict processes within the earth system and to utilise earth’s natural resources in a responsible and sustainable way. The complete overview of the MSc Earth, Climate and Technology you can read here.
- GRS discipline: Climate & Weather
- GRS discipline: Earth Observation
MSc Environmental Engineering:
The task of environmental engineers is to develop solutions to cope with the effects of environmental change; to protect citizens against environmental hazards such as air, soil and water pollution, heatwaves, floods and droughts, and to safeguard water supply and sanitation. The challenge for humanity is to ensure a sustainable and healthy urban and natural environment, based on the principles of a circular economy. The complete overview of the MSc Environmental Engineering you can read here.
